Tree Hugging may Promote Healing. A Close Up Video Experience with Sterling Sinclair on a Barefoot Walk in the Woods, October 17, 2017
Trees are essential to my spiritual and physical health. Trees represent pure welcome – they cast no judgement upon us. They not only invite us to hug them, they hug us back. When I was was little (grade 3 & 4) I spent ours each day communing with trees, brooks, forest animals, fairies and the spirits I would meet there. The trees were my friends. They told me the most adventuresome stories. Even as my world became less protected at home and outside the forest, I felt total security being “alone” in the woods.
Now that I am 50 years old and live under a canope of nut trees reaching over 80 feet into the sky, I still have the same relationships with trees and the forest. It could be my indigenous ancestry that has guided me so strongly to trees but I think that anyone can be drawn to a tree just as strongly, if not more, as me.
Science behind tree hugging:
“Tree Hugging Scientifically Proven
It has been recently scientifically validating that not only hugging trees is good for you, but you don’t even have to to touch a tree to feel better…. Blinded by Science is a recently published book, by author Matthew Silverstone, that proves scientifically that trees improve many health issues that we have. Trees help with issues such as concentration levels, depression, reaction times, different forms of mental illness, and stress. Silverstone even points to research that has strong indications that a tree has the ability to alleviate headaches in human beings.”

This video link is of me returning from hugging the tree. I am walking barefoot in the woods. How about you try walking in the woods barefoot too. It is an enriching feeling of being alive.

Wishing You Happy Holidays
December 24, 2015
Tweed, Madoc, Belleville
Christmas can seem like other big holidays when it comes to traffic, hustle and bustle, and family times.
Over the years I created different posts from grinchy ones to cheery ones.
I have many Christmas Eve and Day memories – most fond.
However, there are some hurtful ones too, especially when it came to celebrating just after a close loved one died.
In my family, several such Christmases have passed.
My heart goes out to all of you.
I hope you find some cheer and comedy in these posts.
I drew them over the years in response to comments on my pages.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a real money tree?
Since we don’t have a money tree, my family gets together and we make crafts for gifts.
One thing my wife wanted for Christmas was a clean house – now that one is a tall order, but I’m doing the best I can.
I pray for many blessings and much joy for all of us.
Much love and cheer,
Introduces Newly Rebranded Counselling Service
November 11, 2015
After all these years of education/training/experience (in and out of school), I have finally figured out a counselling modality that is inspirational, proactive, results oriented, and addresses multiple realities and unseen influences.
My new service will be simply called
Sterling Sinclair Counselling Services
My fee is $100/hr.
I will be continuing with my alternative sessions – offered by request.
I believe that this counselling service will be of great help, especially for people uncertain of sharing with doctors their life concerns, beliefs, visions, dreams, voices, fantasies, matters of paranormal and metaphysical natures.
As you all know, my belief is a person’s perception is 100% of that person’s reality.
I am happy to help people without judgement and within their realities.
Love to you,

Explains the Relationship between His Life and His Work

Our Commonality is Our Difference
One of the most competitive and judgmental communities I have ever been involved in is the natural healing/psychic/spiritual community.
I thought structural religion was difficult; this community can far exceed any church experience that I have ever met.
The reason for such is that many people sincerely want to help people in this community and if differences exist and people do not believe in the same things, modalities, belief systems and such, people can be truly concerned that they or other people may be going down paths that are not best for them.
Because I have 12 years of formal traditional education and relatively little education and training within this community, it is often versed to me directly that I just don’t get it or cannot offer a trustworthy service because the people speaking have no idea what it is that I do or where the information comes from. I created my own method of information retrieval, wellness inspiration and creative method of sharing.
To me, I was born this way. I tried to find an explanation and even a “cure” through traditional means (including medicine, therapy and formal education). The only way I ever balanced myself and accepted who I was and my purpose for living was to offer services that I believe that I was built for and born to do. As my natural abilities/viewpoints/gifts/powers/skills/etheric connections transform and develop then so to do my services.
I am a firm believer that we all do things differently and we all believe in different things. Different people are attracted to different people and are helped by different people. The variety of care and needs fit with each other in our puzzle of life that continues to cut new pieces and form new pictures. We can choose, with or differences, to live alongside and with each other or we can choose not to. The decision is ours.
For me – my work is an extension of my life and I offer that to my clients. Because of that, many miracles and mysteriously wonderful things arise. The following is an example of how I live my life experience…
I was going to a psychic fair in a location that I had not read in for 4 years.
Kim agreed to call some clients that I had met in that area over the years.
I did not know about the fair till about a week before and received confirmation that I was booked a few days before the fair.
I posted that I would be at the fair on my FB page and other a day before Kim called clients.
About 2 hours before Kim making the calls, we were having supper and discussing the location of clients to be called.
All of a sudden, I got up from the table, cleared my plate and retrieved my Sharpie marker and paper. I sat down at the table and while Kim was eating I automatically wrote backwards on the paper, “I miss you why can’t you see me. My purse is by the bed.”
Although I felt that the message was not for Kim, to be sure, Kim went into the bedroom and searched – there was no purse.
Shortly after, Kim called only 50 people (a very small fraction of people on my client list).
On the page, Kim at first was going to call this one client but didn’t because the client lived outside of our discussed calling radius. I had met this client at a local fair for a 20 minute (or so session) about 5 years before (but the client did not live within the calling radius).
After Kim called 49 people and was about to stop, she went back to the original client and decided to call because Kim kept feeling an urge to call.
The day of the fair came and a client sat before me. During the session, it came up that the client’s mother had died.
As soon as that happened, it hit me… “Could this person be the person the message was for?”
I got a copy of the message and showed it to my client.
My client responded that my client had been saying lately to my client’s passed mother, “Why can’t I see you?” AND then my client said, “My mother’s purse is hanging off my bed post where I sleep.”
After a while, Kim informed me that this client was the client Kim called last – the client she was not going to call because of distance but felt the urge to call any way.
Whether or not you believe in psychic communication, telepathy, spirits existing after bodily death, or the possibility of mediums actually communicating with people who have passed on – my life experience does not change. Whether this was all chance or a deck of life’s cards falling all at the right time for the right people at the right location or whether you think the entire story is made up – my life experience does not change. My life experience does not change because my life experience is change itself. I do not attempt to change change when change is already changing. [Our commonality within our communal existence is our collective difference. Difference does not mean better or worse to me. Difference means Different. Since change is always changing we will always remain different… It is our difference within or existence of changing change that gives us reason to celebrate community.]
Seemingly every day of my life occurrences like these happen to me and my family. I never took a medium course or a psychic course. I don’t readily quote things that I have read or adopt popular fads within the spiritual/healing world.
I record writings that channel through me and I learn from them. I believe that they are forms of truth without human manipulation and perceptual slant when I receive them. I mix what naturally make up me with my teachings/learning/training/life experiences including therapeutic listening, problem solving, pattern identification and so on… My life-artistic psychic service is my only career.
I was born living this kind of life with or without explanation.
Whether or not one believes in psychic communication, telepathy, spirits existing after bodily death, or the possibility of mediums actually communicating with people who have passed on – my life experience does not change. Whether this was all chance or a deck of life’s cards falling all at the right time for the right people at the right location or whether one thinks the entire story is made up – my life experience does not change. My life experience does not change because my life experience is change itself. I do not attempt to change change when change is already changing. Since change is always changing we will always remain different… It is our difference within or existence of changing change that gives us reason to celebrate community.]
Living within existence presents life with many unexplained events and situations. Many people, like me, have chosen to go with it and live within the existence of the unknown.
If you haven’t yet chosen to live a life without explanation, be prepared to live within an existence of miracles when you do. Once that happens, life will never again look or be lived the same.
Although some days it may seem otherwise – we are in this together.
I send my love to you on this day.

“Bravery and Forgiveness: Is This Your Time?”
Over the mountain of life, forgiveness is a trek through darkness. Only the bravest of people dare embark upon the journey, for the creatures hiding in the caves of hurt and blinding pride threaten to consume our shields of life.
Although our shields protect us from falling prey to hideous memories and agonizing visceral responses to the past, they also trap anger and aggravation while interrupting our view of a joyous future.
To forgive is easier said than done. The time to take the trek comes to us all but in our own times. Some scars require fading before facing. Some wounds require quickly reopening and cleansing before they can heal. Only we can ultimately decide when the time to forgive is the correct time for us to do so.
Although the cave may be dark upon entry, the cave of forgiveness is bright upon exit.
When it comes to forgiveness, we face the ultimate choice between: taking the slow, laborious, exhausting path up and over the mountain of life; OR taking the cave to quickly pass through the base of the mountain.
On your forgiveness trek, which path shall you take?
When it is your time, you will know
YOU WILL BE BRAVE!
Love to You on this Day,
February 16, 2013 we are welcomed into the day of forgiveness. Fun and happy times are momentarily interrupted with notions of familial, family hurt and personal hurt. Is there something for you to forgive? Maybe you should be forgiven? Maybe, you need to forgive yourself? On this day, please remember, although the cave may be dark upon entry, the cave of forgiveness is bright upon exit. L, S
