Being an Extremely Sensitive Empath has Its Challenges but The Great Outdoors is Healing: Sterling Sinclair Goes Barefoot Tree Hugging, Walking, Bathing and Sunset Swimming, October 2017

If you are like me, people, yes people, people in general drain you.  The drama never ends whether it be on a sidewalk, at a friend’s house visiting, at a hospital or big stores like Walmart.

Take us to a conference just to listen – bam – drain.

Have us present – triple bam – ultra drain.

If you are like me, you probably go out and socialize as seldom as possible and live like a hermit as much as possible.

We are naturally social as well as reclusive.  It is an impossible life to live but we find our ways to live it.

Over the past few weeks, I have had difficulty finding stability because I have been out and about.

So when at my rural  waterfront studio in the woods, I have been seeking restoration.

I hope that these videos give you a sense of peace, calm and home.

This is a video of me heading out for a walk in the field. I just got back to the studio and immediately had to go for a walk:

Sterling Sinclair heads out for a walk in the country
Once out in the woods, especially in the fall, I like to kick off my shoes and go walking barefoot in the leaves.  It is astonishingly grounding.

This is a video of me walking barefoot through the leaves:

I love it when nature starts to peacefully whisper to me and I am called to hug the trees.

This video is raw and up close. I hope that you gain the sense of being one with the forest:

When I return, especially when it is at sunset or evening, I find that a nature swim or blessed bathing in the lake to be restorative.  I let the waters drain away any pain that I am shedding.

This video is of my going into the lake barefoot. The water for the end of October is really warm. It was so magical with the light twinking on the lake as the sun set.

For us extreme empaths, reconnecting with nature and the elements has a way of giving us a rest.  The above moments gave me times to cleanse and re-energize.  Do you do similar activities too. Do you find nature helpful?

Much love, S

How To: Naked Tree Hugging and Barefoot Hiking may Help You Heal, be Grounded, feel Free to Live.

Many indigenous rituals are performed without clothing or with minimal clothing.

Skinny-dipping has been a favourite for young and old alike.

But have you tried naked tree hugging or nude hiking?

How about walking in the leaves barefoot?

I posted this video “How To” on my Facebook timeline and it has gotten record views.

In this how to demonstration, I am wearing my hiking shorts just to make sure nothing accidentally swings into the picture and forces an “Adult” video rating.  But the way it is shot, it gives the viewer a good feel for what it is like to be one with nature.

I hope this video encourages you to kick off your shoes, walk through those fallen autumn leaves and hug a tree. You’ll be glad you did.

Cheers, S

Tree Hugging may Promote Healing.  A Close Up Video Experience with Sterling Sinclair on a Barefoot Walk in the Woods, October 17, 2017

Tree Hugging may Promote Healing. A Close Up Video Experience with Sterling Sinclair on a Barefoot Walk in the Woods, October 17, 2017
Trees are essential to my spiritual and physical health. Trees represent pure welcome – they cast no judgement upon us. They not only invite us to hug them, they hug us back. When I was was little (grade 3 & 4) I spent ours each day communing with trees, brooks, forest animals, fairies and the spirits I would meet there. The trees were my friends. They told me the most adventuresome stories. Even as my world became less protected at home and outside the forest, I felt total security being “alone” in the woods.

Now that I am 50 years old and live under a canope of nut trees reaching over 80 feet into the sky, I still have the same relationships with trees and the forest. It could be my indigenous ancestry that has guided me so strongly to trees but I think that anyone can be drawn to a tree just as strongly, if not more, as me.

Science behind tree hugging:

“Tree Hugging Scientifically Proven

It has been recently scientifically validating that not only hugging trees is good for you, but you don’t even have to to touch a tree to feel better…. Blinded by Science is a recently published book, by author Matthew Silverstone, that proves scientifically that trees improve many health issues that we have. Trees help with issues such as concentration levels, depression, reaction times, different forms of mental illness, and stress. Silverstone even points to research that has strong indications that a tree has the ability to alleviate headaches in human beings.”

Sterling Sinclair Photographs Fairies – Faeries and a Forest Guardian on His Afternoon walk. October 9, 2017

I was sitting on the sofa yesterday around suppertime when I suddenly had the urge to take photos out in the field and forest.

These three photos were taken by me without looking through the view finder of my Nikon. I heard little high pitched voices say, “over here!” So I turned and shot. I was thrilled to see what was in these photos when I processed them this afternoon.

Some of you will see them and some of you will not.

As for me, this is a big confirmation that I am never alone.

I have been drumming for a year and within this week I have:

grieved the death of the forest goddess tree,

sung with my animal spirit guides,

received etheric mist blessings

received visions of my ancestors,

an ancestral anointing and mission instruction

stirred and calmed the wind

and to top it off

I got photos of orbs, forest sprites, faerie people, and a forest guardian spirit looking directly at me.

What a magical week it has been for me.

With these photos, I hope that those who are ready to see them will find and be blessed with eternal magic, awe, and restored hope.

This world is worth saving, just as the ancient ones are trying to save us too.

May these photos brighten your day.

Love, S

the Partial Eclipse April 4, 2015

From my front yard at 6:40 am this morning on Moira Lake Ontario we shot these photos.

Notice how the moon faded into the blue sky rather than be covered in a red glow.  Strange seeing a full moon look like this.

Secretly Stalking

Eclipse, Spring Equinox, Super Moon.

March 18, 2015

Feeling strange?  Feeling a bit off?

Maybe even nauseated but wanting eat?

The atmospheric vibrations coupled with solar storms and universal alterations and astrological movement are being felt big time.

For me, it started 3 days ago.

From what I can tell, it is likely to get worse before better.

This link explains how this amazing event is like effecting us through an astrological means:

http://omtimes.com/2015/03/pisces-new-moon-solar-eclipse/

Many spiritual guides advise us to embrace the energy of this probable once in a lifetime experience, but if we are messed up to the point we just need to booze ourselves to sleep then embracing is not likely possible.

As this Auracature shows, there is more to our anxieties and unease than what first meets the third eye.

What even is this?  I thought it was an opened and used envelope at first and then it turned into what looks like an owl-cat hybrid.

Nonetheless, it is watching.  May these posts having to do with the energies might help.

Here is the trifecta:  http://yournewswire.com/three-celestial-events-on-friday-solar-eclipse-supermoon-spring-equinox/

Then we toss in the geomagnetic storm: http://www.usatoday.com/story/weather/2015/03/17/solar-geomagnetic-storm/24901903/

and the lack of earthquakes across North America and the pacific rim for most of the day.

Silence before the storm?

God help us if it is.

Stay safe, warm and as relaxed as you can be.

During times like these, it is most often best to let life slide through.

We are in this all together.
