Joyously Celebrates a Unseasonably Warm Christmas,
December 27, 2015
Well, hasn’t it been strange weather?
Although I like snow, this early spring-like weather has been wonderful.
Well… maybe not wonderful for all people.
My heart goes out to the farmers losing spring crops because they are sprouting and snow removal people who depend on the snow for their living.
Over Christmas, however, we watched an amazing full moon rise over a normally frozen lake, we had a bonfire with the family and celebrated the life and memory of my late nephew with lantern lighting in the night.
The last time I remember a Christmas like this was around 1975 or so. I was young then but I remember it being so warm that for our family Christmas party at my aunt’s house, we had the patio door and windows open.
Here are a couple photos I shot.
There should be lots of ice and snow in these photos.
A few years back I shot this photo that represents what Moira Lake should like:
So what is going on?
I found these two articles:
Whether you have snow and ice or whether you are basking in the sun and/or rain, I pray that you find joy in your days.

Christmas can seem like other big holidays when it comes to traffic, hustle and bustle, and family times.
Over the years I created different posts from grinchy ones to cheery ones.
I have many Christmas Eve and Day memories – most fond.
However, there are some hurtful ones too, especially when it came to celebrating just after a close loved one died.
In my family, several such Christmases have passed.
My heart goes out to all of you.
I hope you find some cheer and comedy in these posts.
I drew them over the years in response to comments on my pages.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a real money tree?
Since we don’t have a money tree, my family gets together and we make crafts for gifts.
One thing my wife wanted for Christmas was a clean house – now that one is a tall order, but I’m doing the best I can.
I pray for many blessings and much joy for all of us.
Much love and cheer,
