How To: Naked Tree Hugging and Barefoot Hiking may Help You Heal, be Grounded, feel Free to Live.

Many indigenous rituals are performed without clothing or with minimal clothing.

Skinny-dipping has been a favourite for young and old alike.

But have you tried naked tree hugging or nude hiking?

How about walking in the leaves barefoot?

I posted this video “How To” on my Facebook timeline and it has gotten record views.

In this how to demonstration, I am wearing my hiking shorts just to make sure nothing accidentally swings into the picture and forces an “Adult” video rating.  But the way it is shot, it gives the viewer a good feel for what it is like to be one with nature.

I hope this video encourages you to kick off your shoes, walk through those fallen autumn leaves and hug a tree. You’ll be glad you did.

Cheers, S

Death, Mourning and the Spirit

Visual location detectors and mindful belief systems create a parting at death.

Bodily awareness to the point or ignoring the spirit leaves loved ones lonely at the time of bodily death, for the body is in fact gone.

The spirit loses its understanding connection at death and hence has a sense of loss without its body.

The spirits of both the deceased and the survived remain close but try to locate each other within a confused state of awareness.

To fight so hard to make the body well and extend its life at the expense of catering to the spirit leaves the spirit wandering in its grief.

It is not too late to reconnect with your spirit and the spirits of loved ones who passed.

Life exists beyond the flesh and the spirit remains you in your life even after your death.

Life devoted to the body – the spirit is ignored.

Life devoted to the spirit – the body is nurtured.

Death does not have the final word.
