“Parent company Lufthansa confirmed that the 24-year-old Germanwings jet had not yet received the ‘life-extending’ upgrade but would have done ‘sooner or later’. The aim of the major revamp – to squeeze an extra five to ten years of service – is to avoid older aircraft suffering from increased risk of stress.
Those having their life-span extended beyond their planned ‘retirement’ limit have to undergo what is termed a ‘heavy maintenance check’.
This involves the plane being stripped down and having every piece of machinery and fuselage inspected from nose to tail, inside and out, with worn-out parts or seals replaced and any signs of wear and rear dealt with. It also includes software upgrades.
Carsten Spohr, the head of Lufthansa which owns the budget Germanwings airline, stressed yesterday it remained ‘inexplicable’ that a well-serviced aircraft with an experienced crew would fall from the sky.
One theory that emerged today suggested the plane may have crashed because the windscreen cracked, causing a sudden drop in oxygen levels that rendered the pilots unconscious.
Another theory is that the speed sensors malfunctioned, feeding false information to the pilots and making it difficult to fly.
The covering of the second black box flight recorder, which logs key flight data, was recovered yesterday from the mountainside but not the recorder itself, which is the size of an iPhone.
One flight safety expert told BBC News on Wednesday that recorder would also need to be found in order for investigators to fully understand the circumstances leading up to the crash.
An anonymous user alleged on the Aviation Herald website that the black box voice recorder recovered from the wreckage contained the sounds of ‘cracks’ in the cockpit.
The user wrote: ‘It seems structural failure (windshield? not determined yet). It was quick… sound of cracks, but crew initiated emergency descent by autopilot and then they weren’t heard any more. Autopilot was on during whole descent, but disconnected automatically shortly before impact.’”
So all this and no black box recorder??? Odd? Hmmm?
So I took a look at the pilot and copilot of 9295.
Was the co-pilot really just a murderous psycho as we are being led to believe by all the conjecture and headlines.
My Spirit-Type suggests “NO!” but pilot, “Maybe.”
These are the Spirit-Types that I have discovered and studied over the past 6 years. I have drawn thousands of them with over a 90% accuracy.
A Pure Spirit is/was his Spirit-Type.
It means that he was not born with the innate desire to purposely cause another person harm. He may have been naive and gotten into trouble and even forms of intoxication to deal with his difficult life at times but, he would not purposely hurt someone – especially 150 people.
A Schizoid Spirit-Type does not make him automatically a murderer but power, sex, a living on an unpredictable edge could very much fit his picture.
The other image illustrates his condition. Why leave the cock pit?
It appears – a distraction drew him away.
His mind was not on piloting the plane at that time.
Either something wrong with the plane or a human distraction appears to have drawn him away.
This sort of image would not appear if he simply had to urinate.
Why would the co-pilot not get up and answer the door?
Well, that is like asking yourself, why did I not let go of the steering wheel and buckle my seat belt as I spun out of control toward a transport on a speeding highway.
If he were trying to save the plane, he would not get up and unlock the door.
If he were somehow dilluded/drugged/passed out whatever, he would not have gotten up to open the door.
More is going on in this series of events.
The mysterious loss of the black box recorder seems odd in itself, doesn’t it?
My heart goes out to all of the survived loved ones and to those trying to bring the passed’ remains home.
